Basic Deodorant Recipe:
14 g Coconut Oil (I use 92 degree, but 76 is okay)
14 g Mango Butter (or butter of choice)
14 g Beeswax
14 g Baking Soda
14 g Arrowroot Powder
3-6 drops Vit E Oil
.5 g Essential Oil (or 15 drops)

Sensitive Skin Deodorant Recipe:
14 g Coconut Oil (Babassu oil is a good sub)
14 g Shea Butter (or butter of choice)
14 g Beeswax (Candelilla wax is a vegan sub)
14 g Arrowroot Powder (can sub with cornstarch or kaolin clay)
3-6 drops Vit E Oil
.5 g Essential Oil (or 15 drops)

  1. I love your presentation and have been making my own deodorant for a number of years now, but it isn’t quite solid enough to use in a roll on style. Your recipe looks like it would work wonderfully, but I’d like to make it in larger (not for traveling) size. My containers are 2oz and I’d like to make at least 2 at a time. Would I use the same ratios of all the ingredients to do this, or should I reduce the baking soda, as this sounds like it would be really soda heavy? TYIA
